Worship was held, Sunday, July 9, 2023, @ 10:30 a.m. interactively here on the Internet using Skype or in person at our chapel. We were very NONCONVENTIONAL this morning. In this recording I addressed these four comments people frequently told me at the three Pride events I attended in June, in Elmira, Corning, and New York City. FOUR QUESTIONS 1) I don't do anything by faith. I only do things I can prove scientifically. I can't believe in God because I never go into anything in life without being sure of outcome. 2) I don't like organized religion. I am not a religious person. 3) I am a pagan, agnostic, and spiritual and I do not need organized Christianity 4) The Bible is a mess. Download today's program Right Click Here. ***WOKE*** Conservatives have taken over the expression "woke" popularized by African-American young men. African-Americans used the word to mean staying awake and alert, to have been "woke" up and paying attention to the cultural and religious movements of the past, present, and potential futures. The Ray Of Hope Church Statement of Purpose calls us to stay "woke" at all times, paying attention to the world of religion, politics, and society.

We did not start a new kind of Christianity. Ray Of Hope Church teaches the same Christian faith of ancient ecumenical consensus. St. Vincent of Lerins, a fifth-century monk and theologian, described it as "what has been believed always, everywhere, and by all."
